Git project open from force.com or MavenMate IDEs

It might be useful to open and edit Salesforce’s project from github location.
Let’s showcase this with a sample projet like https://github.com/ForceDotComLabs/cloud-swarm.git
To do this, you need to have either:

  • eclipse with egit plugin installed, or
  • SublimeText with MavensMate plugin installed

Hopefully, Force.com IDE and MavensMate IDE shared the same project structure:
– src / package.xml
Allowing then to use either one of you favorite IDE for developement.
